Jony Ive Timer

The challenge given was to create a timer in the style of a specific chosen designer, and get it as close to five minutes as possible. I chose Jony Ive as my designer, so made this from a store-bought egg timer and an aluminium tube. I capped the ends with white and black acrylic, and made small marks for the five minute mark along the rim.

The final presentation for this was timed by our creations - so in order to get the full time to present I had to get it to be perfectly five minutes.

I got it to four minutes and 43 seconds. Close enough… right?
